What native rules do well
Rules configured in your claims system run where adjusters already work, fire the moment a claim is saved, and cost nothing beyond the license and configuration time you already carry. They are deterministic, so claims IT can explain every flag. For clean cases, such as a rear-end collision coded at FNOL with a police report number and an adverse carrier listed, they work well.
The structured-field ceiling
A rule can only test fields someone filled in. Loss cause and fault are coded early, often on the first call, and rarely revisited by adjusters carrying 100 to 150 active claims. The facts that create recovery arrive later, in a fire marshal's finding, an engineer's report or a plumber's invoice. Over 80% of the opportunities Ishqkala finds come from narrative text like that. Rules written against free-text fields become keyword rules, with the same false positives.
Running both
Keep your native rules as the first line. Ishqkala writes its score, reasoning and a subrogation activity back to the claim through your system's supported integration points, so adjusters see the lead in the screens they already use.
