Estimating & data integration
Ishqkala + Mitchell Cloud Estimating
Mitchell Cloud Estimating estimates, heavy-duty truck work included, mapped to recovery damages.
Overview
Mitchell Cloud Estimating is Mitchell's browser-based estimating system for insurer appraisers and repair facilities, covering passenger vehicles, motorcycles and, with TruckMax, medium and heavy-duty trucks. Ishqkala reads committed Mitchell estimates exported in CIECA BMS or EMS format, or estimate reports attached to your claims, and turns them into structured damages evidence. Commercial truck estimates matter most: high-dollar fleet losses with clear third-party liability are where a missed recovery costs the most.
Use cases
- Recover heavy-duty truck repair costs from an at-fault motor carrier after a highway collision.
- Document motorcycle damage and point of impact for a left-turn intersection recovery.
- Reconcile supplements so the arbitration damages figure matches what was paid.
Architecture & data flow
How data moves between Mitchell Cloud Estimating and Ishqkala.
01
Estimate committed
Committed estimates export in BMS or EMS format, or the report attaches to the claim in your core system.
02
Transfer
Your team stages export files over SFTP on a schedule, or Ishqkala reads attached reports with your claim system connector.
03
Parse
Ishqkala structures header, line items, supplements and totals.
04
Cross-check liability
Point of impact and damage pattern are compared with notes, statements and the police report.
05
Package
Estimates and photos become indexed exhibits in the Demand Package Builder.
API data flow
Objects read and written.
| Object | Direction | What Ishqkala does with it |
|---|---|---|
| Estimate header and vehicle | Read | VIN, vehicle class, point of impact and loss date, including medium and heavy-duty trucks from TruckMax estimates. |
| Line items and labor | Read | Parts, labor operations, refinish and aftermarket parts pricing, structured for the damages exhibit. |
| Supplements | Read | Committed supplements linked to the original estimate, so the demand reflects final paid damages. |
| Estimate photos | Read | Damage photos, including those used for photo-based virtual appraisals, included as exhibits. |
| Estimate totals | Read | Gross and net totals with deductible and betterment, reconciled to paid amounts in your claim system. |

FAQ
Mitchell Cloud Estimating integration FAQ
No formal partnership is implied. Ishqkala reads estimate exports and reports your organization already produces.
Both work. BMS is preferred because it carries richer structure; EMS is supported for carriers that still export it.
Yes. TruckMax estimates for medium and heavy-duty trucks are parsed the same way as passenger vehicle estimates.
As fresh as your transfer schedule. Most teams run hourly or nightly transfers; attached reports are read whenever the claim is scored.
