Estimating & data integration

Verisk Xactware logoIshqkala + Xactimate

Property estimate line items from Xactimate and XactAnalysis, mapped into recovery damages.

Vendor: Verisk XactwareSync: Real-time + batchMethods: 2

Overview

Xactimate is Verisk's property estimating software, and XactAnalysis is the Xactware network carriers use to send assignments and receive completed estimates. Ishqkala reads the Xactimate estimates your claim system already receives through your XactAnalysis integration, as estimate reports and structured estimate data attached to the claim, or files your team stages over SFTP. Line items, rooms and photos become structured evidence: which component failed, what the repair cost, and how depreciation and the deductible belong in the demand.

Use cases

  • Tie a water loss to a failed supply line, then size the demand from mitigation and rebuild line items.
  • Separate the cost of a defective appliance's fire damage from unrelated pre-existing wear.
  • Prove contractor hot-work fire damage room by room for a commercial property recovery.
  • Show the insured's deductible separately so it can be returned when the recovery is collected.

Architecture & data flow

How data moves between Xactimate and Ishqkala.

  1. 01

    Estimate arrives

XactAnalysis returns a completed estimate to your claim system, or your team drops estimate files over SFTP.

  2. 02

    Parse

Ishqkala parses the estimate report and any structured estimate data into line items, totals and rooms.

  3. 03

    Link to liability evidence

Line items are matched against adjuster notes and expert reports to identify the failed component, such as a water heater, ice maker line or condensate drain.

  4. 04

    Damages model

Recoverable damages are computed from paid amounts by coverage, depreciation holdback and the insured's deductible.

  5. 05

    Package

Estimate pages and a line-item summary attach as exhibits in the Demand Package Builder.

API data flow

Write-back is limited to the objects listed here and can be switched off entirely for read-only deployments.
ObjectDirectionWhat Ishqkala does with it
Estimate line itemsReadCategory and selector, quantity, unit price and line total by room, used to isolate the failed component and the resulting repair cost.
Estimate totalsReadReplacement cost, depreciation, actual cash value, deductible and net claim, which drive the damages section of the demand package.
Rooms and sketch dataReadAffected rooms and areas, used to trace damage from the point of origin, such as an upstairs supply line, to downstream rooms.
Estimate photos and line notesReadEstimator photos and notes, which often record the failure point, such as a burst braided supply line at the compression fitting.
Supplements and revisionsReadLater estimate versions, so the demand reflects final paid scope rather than the first estimate.
ESX project fileReadKept with the opportunity as a source record your estimator or counsel can reopen in Xactimate.

Security & data governance

Controls on this connection.

  • Read-only: Ishqkala never edits, resubmits or returns estimates to XactAnalysis.
  • Estimate files delivered over SFTP with key-based authentication or read from your claim system with a scoped service account.
  • AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit, US AWS regions only.
  • Zero model training on your estimates or claim files.

Setup timeline

From kickoff to first findings.

  1. Week 1

    Source confirmation

Confirm where completed estimates land today: claim system documents, structured estimate fields or a shared folder.

  2. Week 2

    Parse validation

Parse 200 recent estimates and compare totals with your paid amounts.

  3. Week 3

    Production

Estimates feed scoring and demand packages for every property claim in scope.

FAQ

Xactimate integration FAQ

No. Ishqkala reads estimates your organization already receives. It does not sign in to XactAnalysis or Xactimate and is not a Verisk partner integration.

ESX is Xactimate's project format and opens in Xactimate. Ishqkala reads the estimate report and any structured estimate data in your claim system, and keeps the ESX file attached as a source record.

Ishqkala shows replacement cost, depreciation and actual cash value separately, so recovery counsel can decide which measure of damages to demand under the governing state law.

Yes. Commercial and residential Xactimate estimates are parsed the same way. That matters most in commercial property and water losses, where the average missed recovery runs $28,500 per claim and line-item detail carries the damages argument.
